TMI Coatings is experienced at installing a wide variety of industrial and commercial floor coatings, ranging from thin-film (3-5 mils) coatings for dust control of concrete up to 1/4" thick concrete flooring toppings for heavy industrial use. TMI restores eroded concrete to the surrounding plane prior to the application of the floor coating.

TMI CHEM-RESIST is a low odor, 100% solids epoxy floor coating for floor areas subjected to heavy traffic, chemicals, or areas requiring a safety non-skid surface. 100% solids means no solvents are used during mixing and therefore no unpleasant odors are emitted during application. TMI CHEM-RESIST epoxy flooring will protect your concrete floor from everyday wear-and-tear. TMI epoxy flooring is suitable for a variety of acids and alkalis, solvents, oils and harsh detergents.

Cementitious urethane toppings are commonly used on plant floors for slip resistance for safety and durability. This newer technology topping can be applied immediately over a new concrete slab. Cementitious urethane topping cures in hours.

Cargill SafeLane™

TMI Coatings is an authorized installer of Cargill SafeLane™ a surface overlay designed to increase safety and infrastructure protection. This two coat polymer epoxy significantly reduces ice and frost formation on surfaces while protecting infrastructure from corrosion and chloride intrusion. Cargill SafeLane™ creates an anti-skid surface to prevent slips and falls. SafeLane™ overlay helps prevent slippery conditions by storing and releasing anti-icing liquids.

SafeLane™ commonly used in high traffic areas as pedestrian entry ways, entrances and exits.

TMI has considerable experience in shallow depth and full depth concrete repair, rebar replacement, concrete restoration and coating of pedestrian and vehicular areas. Urethane traffic deck coatings are applied for waterproofing concrete decks; epoxies are installed on slabs on grade. Non-slip finishes are applied in pedestrian walkways for safety.
