Vacuum Blasting for Above Ground Storage Tanks

Using the 20D vacuum-blast equipment, TMI Coatings can remove lead-based paint from horizontal steel surfaces (floors and roofs) on above ground storage tanks.

	No large piles of sandblast sand leftover. All blasting grit is recycled and reused.
	Automatic grit blaster is self-propelled.
	Cleans horizontal steel (floors and roofs) at 200 to 5,000 SF an hour.
	Twenty inch width contains variable speed drive.
	A German engineered, twenty horse power aluminum motor operates efficiently under heavy loads and dissipates heat quickly.
	HEPA filters in attached dust collector filter unit when required.
	Anchor pattern is controllable by grade of shot or grit and travel speed.
	Requires 460 volts and 60 amps power.
	The speed of the 20D allows TMI to complete surface preparation up to ten times faster than conventional methods, allowing owners to place their tanks into service faster.
